HUBUNGAN ANTARA UMUR INDUK DAN LAMA MENYUSUI TERHADAP PERIODE ANESTRUS POST PARTUM (APP) KAMBING PERANAKAN ETAWA (PE).

Abstract: The aim of this research is to know relationship between mother age and long of suckling to anoestrus post partum period in Peranakan Etawa goat.
The research material used 60 female Peranakan Etawa goats. Age of goats range from 2- 4 year. This research used survey method. Intake of the sample done by purposive sampling. Data analyzed by simple linear regression to prediction relationship between mother age with anoestrus post partum period and long of suckling with anoestrus post partum period.
The result of this research showed that significant relationship between mother age with anoestrus post partum period of Peranakan Etawa goat (P < 0.05). Equation of linear regression is Y = 38,67 + 4,507X, with believed level 0,035; correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination successively 0,273 and 0,074. Analysis of data by linear regression showed that very significant relationship between long of suckling with anoestrus post partum period ( P<0,01). Equation of linear regression is Y = 25,785 + 14,377X, with believed level 0,000; correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination successively 0,859 and 0,738
